Sürdürülebilir Kalkınma Uygulama ve Araştırma Merkezi
The event titled "Summit on the Role of Universities in Sustainable Development in the Centenary of the Republic of Turkiye", organized by the Sustainable Development Application and Research Center, was held on 27 September 2023 at the South Campus.
Prof. Dr. Öcal Oğuz, President of the UNESCO National Commission for Türkiye, Prof. Dr. Recep Öztürk, Vice Rector of Istanbul Medipol University, and Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kesik, Rector of Istanbul Gedik University made the opening speeches at the event. Boğaziçi University faculty member Dr. Tamer Atabarut, ITU faculty member Assist. Prof. Ebru Acuner Türüt and Assist. Prof. Burak Barutçu, MİKADO General Manager Şadan Ertekin Mis, UNSDSN Türkiye Coordinator Bahar Özay, Istanbul Medipol University faculty member Assist. Prof. Ayşegül Sezgin Huysal and Sürdürülebilir Yaşam Okulu Founder Aslı Dede made speeches.
