41st LABORATORY ANIMAL USE CERTIFICATE TRAINING

The course program has been prepared in accordance with the “Circular on the Laboratory Animal Use Certificate Training Program,” dated 02 April 2019 and numbered 2019/3, issued by the General Directorate of Nature Conservation and National Parks of the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.
Attendance in all sections of the program is mandatory. Participants who score 70 points or above in the examinations to be held at the end of the program will be awarded a “Laboratory Animal Use Certificate.”
The Laboratory Animal Use Certificate will be issued in Categories A, B, and C.
Category A: Researchers (including undergraduate students)
Category B: Auxiliary Healthcare/Technical Personnel
Category C: Animal Caretakers
The Laboratory Animal Use Certificate will be issued for Group 1 animal species (Mouse, Rat, Rabbit).

COURSE ATTENDANCE
In accordance with the relevant legislation, attendance of at least 80% of the theoretical courses and 100% of the practical courses is mandatory.
Language of Instruction: Turkish
All training sessions and examinations within the scope of the program will be conducted in Turkish.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ISTANBUL MEDIPOL UNIVERSITY LABORATORY ANIMAL USE CERTIFICATE PROGRAM
Tetanus vaccination is mandatory. The vaccination must be administered no later than 5 days before the start of the practical training. Submission of a vaccination certificate will not be required.
- Istanbul Medipol University MEDİTAM reserves the right to make changes to the course schedule, program dates, and course hours when deemed necessary and/or not to open the course.
- If a sufficient number of participants is not reached, Istanbul Medipol University MEDİTAM may postpone the course and hold it in February 2027. Participants will be informed one week in advance. If the program is not opened, the participation fees already paid will be refunded.

Category B: Auxiliary Healthcare/Technical Personnel
Category C: Animal Caretakers
- As the course quota is limited, no refunds will be made after 5 January 2027, except for participants who provide a medical report.
- Istanbul Medipol University MEDİTAM reserves the right to change the instructor(s) and training venue when necessary.
- Laboratory Animal Use Certificates will be issued in Categories A/B/C for Group 1 animal species (Mouse, Rat, and Rabbit).
- Attendance of at least 80% of the theoretical courses and 100% of the practical courses is mandatory.
