Eastern Anatolia Exporters' Association aims to contribute to the development of the sector by carrying out activities to promote the products of the region in existing and target markets, to improve its image and to increase its export potential, to deal with all kinds of problems of exporter member companies, to find solutions to them and to guide these companies.
Turkish enterprises must be aware of the policies to be implemented by Europe within the scope of the European Green Deal. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), which account for half of total turnover and 72.4 percent of employment in Türkiye, play an important role in this transformation. Moreover, 37 percent of Turkiye's exports originate from SMEs (TurkStat, 2020). In this context, it has been observed that the high-level awareness on green economic transformation in the companies visited.
