Summer Course Program and Registration Announcement

The 2022-2023 Summer course will be held between July 3rd and August 11th. All courses will be taught FACE-TO-FACE and SIMULTANEOUSLY ONLINE as HYBRID at North Campus A Block classrooms, five days a week.

Since the creation of the class lists will continue simultaneously with the registrations, students who wish to register and find out their class are kindly requested to consult the language school planning unit in office AZ-01 or send an e-mail to [email protected] stating your name surname and student number before the class time.

The summer course is only available for "active" students enrolled in Istanbul Medipol University English Preparatory Program.

There will be 28 hours per week. Lesson hours can be seen below;

09:00 – 10:30 (1st & 2nd hours)

10:45 – 12:15 (3rd & 4th hours)

13:00 – 14:30 (5th & 6th hours)

Evaluation Criteria

Online Homework: 10%

Writing Portfolio: 30%

End of Summer Course Exam: 60%

* Summer course assessment criteria (online assignments, portfolio studies, and end-of-summer course exam) will be carried out online.

* Summer Course passing grade is 75. In order for students to be successful in the summer course, they must score at least 75 points, taking into account the criteria mentioned above.

ABOUT PAYMENTS

Summer Course Fee is 8500 TL including the materials and e-books.

Summer Course Fee is $850 (USD) including the materials and e-books for the international students.

The distribution of summer course books will be announced separately.

Payments of course fees will be made between July 5th - July 7th, 2023 and payments will be made as follows:

• It can be paid by credit card using the online payment system through your summer term registration to be created on the MEBIS page. (Payments can be made through the summer term registration on the Mebis- Payments screen).
• Payments cannot be made in cash. Payments can be made via money transfer using the account information given below.
• There will be no discount for lump sum payments.
• There will be no refunds for summer course payments
• The registration will not be completed unless the whole fee is paid.
• Students who have not made their payments can register for classes as long as they complete the accounting process in the first week of the summer course. Students who still have not paid in the second week will be removed from the class lists.
