Universities are considered by the United Nations to be among the most important actors in the process of realizing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Universities contribute to the goals of decent work and economic growth, climate action, reducing inequalities, responsible consumption and production, healthy individuals, and partnerships for the goals, especially quality education, through their activities.
Nowadays, it has gained importance to measure the contributions of universities to the SDGs with international indices.
As Istanbul Medipol University, our rise continued this year in THE Impact Ranking, which is among the most important indices in this field. Istanbul Medipol University has made very important contributions especially in the items "Healthy Individuals" and "Reducing Inequalities".
Istanbul Medipol University ranked in the top 1,000 in the general ranking of THE Impact Rankings 2023, ranked in the top 5 in Türkiye in the field of "Health and Quality Life" and ranked 201-300 worldwide.
