Social Contribution Strategy and Policy
Social Contribution Strategy

Through its educational and research activities, our Faculty assumes the role of a cultural agent, contributing to the advancement of the built environment, elements of material culture, and the social codes of behaviour shaped by them, for the benefit of society and the world. In this regard, guided by the universal principles of sustainable development, the Faculty develops pioneering creative initiatives at the local level. Through its entrepreneurial identity, it contributes to the growth of natural and cultural capital by establishing partnerships not only with its internal stakeholders but also with other regional, national, and international cultural actors—including non-governmental organizations, local authorities, and business communities.

Social Contribution Policy and Objectives

Continuity and Inclusiveness
To make social contribution more diverse and inclusive by establishing new partnerships within a broad framework. Through these partnerships, the Faculty seeks to foster continuous learning, development, and growth; to transfer its expanding expertise and accumulated knowledge from the local to the global level; and to contribute to the activation, dissemination, and adoption of social benefit through students, graduates, academic staff, and other stakeholders.

Creative Leadership
To lead and make a difference by focusing on the exploration of the unknown rather than the repetition of established knowledge, thereby generating benefit across a broad spectrum of areas encompassed by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, from addressing social inequalities to protecting ecosystems. In this context, the Faculty adopts innovative content and methods in its core educational and research-and-development activities, enabling successive generations to fulfil their potential and providing leadership in this process. It also aims to set an example for society and all stakeholders through interdisciplinary and dynamic social contribution projects, raise awareness, and promote lifelong learning.

Resource Generation and Protection
To generate resources for all stakeholders of the unit in order to expand and diversify social contribution activities. To ensure, with increasing momentum, the protection and safeguarding of project outputs and scientific outputs.

Environmental Sustainability
To employ all of its knowledge, expertise, and influence in support of an environmentally sustainable world.
