Research Areas
Chemistry, one of the main pillars of pharmacy education, is a fundamental science that studies the building blocks and components of substances, their interactions, and quantifies these components. At the Faculty of Pharmacy, Analytical Chemistry courses are offered to students as follows: General Chemistry in the first semester, Analytical Chemistry I and Analytical Chemistry II in the 3rd and 4th semesters, and Analytical Chemistry Laboratory I and Analytical Chemistry Laboratory II. These courses are taught by the Department of Analytical Chemistry.
The research areas of the Department of Analytical Chemistry at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Istanbul Medipol University include:
1. Enrichment of precious metals using solid-phase extraction methods
2. Study of adsorption isotherms, investigation of adsorption conditions, and development of analytical methods
