Graduate Applications

  • Applicants applying to Master's and PhD programs must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree. Applicants applying to PhD programs with a Bachelor's degree must have either a minimum GPA of 3.00/4.00 (or its equivalent) or have graduated within the top three (3) ranks of their class.
  • Graduates of non-thesis Master's programs are not eligible to apply for PhD programs. However, students who were enrolled in non-thesis Master's programs before February 6, 2013, may apply.
  • No ALES score is required for non-thesis Master's programs.
  • Candidates wishing to apply for graduate programs must create a “new account” through the link specified in the Graduate Program Application Guide published under the announcements section of the University's website and enter the requested information in the relevant sections. Documents requested on the application screen must be uploaded to the system in PDF or JPEG format.
  • It is mandatory to provide an actively used e-mail address during registration. (Notifications will be sent via e-mail.)
  • Documents uploaded to the system must be certified and fully legible; otherwise, they will be considered invalid.
  • Once an application has been fully approved, the candidate’s compliance with the foreign language proficiency requirements of the applied program will be evaluated. Candidates who do not possess a valid language examination certificate (except for PhD program applicants) will be required to take the examination announced by the University on the specified date.
  • Candidates who meet all requirements must attend the relevant examinations at the place, date, and time specified in the Application Guide.
  • Candidates are required to participate in all examinations and interviews announced in the Application Guide. Otherwise, they will not be included in the evaluation process.
  • The ranking will be determined based on the calculations made after all values included in the evaluation table have been completed.
  • Candidates who are granted the right to final enrollment according to the results announced after all evaluations must submit their documents during the final registration period.
  • Original documents must be presented during final registration. The candidate is responsible for any discrepancies between the information and documents declared during the preliminary application and those presented at final registration. Applications that do not comply with the requirements will be deemed invalid, even if the candidate has earned the right to final registration.
  • To benefit from tuition discount rates, an employment certificate must be uploaded to the system during the application process. Discount applications submitted afterward will not be considered.
