Duty, Authority and Responsibilities

• To provide that the units within the university administrative organization work efficiently, regularly and harmoniously within the framework of the relevant laws, statutes, regulations, instructions and procedures and principles.

• To provide the delivery of the University Senate and University Administrative Board’s agendas to the relevant people on time,

• To provide that the decisions of the University Senate and the University Administrative Board are written, protected, stored and communicated to the units affiliated to the university and relevant people and to carry out the internal and external correspondence of the Rectorate,

• To provide healthy and good relations between university administrative and private and official institutions,

• To maintain the coordination between the School/College/Graduate School Secteraties, to provide cooperation, to create a productive and regular workplace,

• To provide the university’s any support services needs,

• To determine the in-service training needs of the administrative personnel who work at the university and to provide the training program according to these needs, 

• To provide the fulfilment and the arrangement of the support services for the protocol, visit and ceremony events of the Rectorate,

• To chair the board and commissions which they are members of it and/or contribute, to develop the system and to provide the development of systems and legislation,

• To carry out studies related to the provision of all kinds of social security of the employees,

• Ensuring the productivity in the resources use,

• To provide the supervision of the activities of the General Secretariat and units affiliated to them,

• To suggest to the rector about the personnel to be assigned within the university administrative organizations,

• To provide the internal and external correspondences of the university
