Occupational Health and Safety Office

The Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Office was established in 2019 under the General Secretariat to provide consultancy and guidance on the organization of OHS activities. The office operates in accordance with the obligations arising from the Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331, which was published by the Ministry of Labour and Social Security in the Official Gazette dated June 30, 2012 (Issue No. 28339), and its associated regulations.

The Istanbul Medipol University OHS Office contributes to the preparation and maintenance of OHS-related documentation and promotes the adoption of a safety culture across the institution.

All OHS activities within the scope of Law No. 6331 are carried out across the university's Kavacık North, Kavacık South, and Haliç campuses, as well as the Çamlıca, Pendik, Sefaköy, Esenler, Vatan, and Unkapanı Health Application and Research Centers. These activities are executed by Occupational Safety Specialists, Workplace Physicians, and Other Health Personnel, with the OHS Office ensuring the coordination and monitoring of all operations.
