!!!!!! Steps Students Must Follow When Filling Out the Course Exemption Request List (Excel - Appendix-3):

1. The "Course Exemption Petition" and "Appendix-3 Course Exemption Application Form (Excel)" files must be downloaded.
2. The required information is written on the Course Exemption Petition and signed.
3. Steps for preparing the Appendix-3 Course Exemption Application Form Excel file (This file must be filled out on a computer):
3.1. Open the “Appendix-3” tab from the sub-tabs.
3.2. The sub-tabs with your department abbreviation contain information about the courses that must be taken in our department.
3.3. The section under “Your Department and Department at Medipol” will be filled out by the student. In this process, the appropriate course from the student's transcript should be written next to the course for which exemption is desired in the “Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Department Courses” section. During this matching process, the course content in the transcript must match the course content in the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Course Catalog (Course content in the Istanbul Medipol University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Departments Course Catalog can be accessed by following this path: “www.medipol.edu.tr/akademik/fakulteler/isletme-ve-yonetim-bilimleri-fakultesi” -> click on “departments/yourdepartment/program-information#aktscredits” -> On the page that opens, all courses in the catalog are located at the bottom. The course content can be accessed by selecting the name of the desired course).
3.4. Select the abbreviation of your department from the "Department at Medipol" tab, click on your department name abbreviation in the Excel sub-tabs, and paste the course code you want to perform exemption matching into the table in Appendix 3. (The Faculty Course Name, Credits/Scores, ECTS, and Coordinator information will automatically appear in the table.)
3.5. Elective Education Center / Optional Elective Courses: If you wish to make a match, you can obtain the code from the "elective" tab in the sub-tabs and perform the matching process as above. The only difference here is that you need to select the word "elective" instead of your department abbreviation in the "Department at Medipol" field.
