Health Sciences School Students Who Have Reached the Maximum Study Period Have the Right to Take Exams

Pursuant to Article 44 of the Higher Education Law No. 2547, the additional examinations to be administered for students of the School of Health Sciences who have exceeded the maximum period of study will be held on the dates specified below.

Senior-year students shall be granted two additional examination rights for all failed courses in order to complete the requirements for graduation from their registered program at the end of the maximum period of study.

AT THE END OF THE ADDITIONAL EXAMINATIONS:

Students who reduce the number of failed courses to five shall be granted an additional three semesters for these five courses.
Students who have up to five failed courses without taking the additional examinations shall be granted four semesters.
Students who fail only one course after the additional examinations shall be granted the right to take the examination for the failed course an unlimited number of times. However, students granted unlimited examination rights shall not benefit from student rights.
Students who do not attend the examinations offered for a total of three academic years, either consecutively or intermittently, shall be deemed to have waived their unlimited examination right and shall no longer benefit from this right.
Students who fail to reduce the number of failed courses to five after the additional examinations held at the end of the maximum period of study shall have their registrations dismissed.
Students who will take the additional examinations at the end of the maximum period of study and who have failed a practical course may, upon request, be granted a one-time opportunity to complete the practical component.

Application Dates for Additional Examinations: 11–19 May 2026
Announcement of Examination Schedule : 22 May 2026
Examination Dates: Examinations will be conducted face-to-face between 08–12 June 2026.

Applications must be submitted in person to the Secretariat of the School of Health Sciences.
