Entrepreneurship and investment processes discussed at META Talks

Organized by Istanbul Medipol University Technology Transfer Office, the trainings titled “Innovation in Startups” and “Investment Processes in Startups” were held at Medipol META Talks. In the first session of the event held in the South Campus Conference Hall, Hayat Holding Kastamonu Entegre Global R&D and Innovation Director Dr. Hüseyin Güler discussed the “Innovation in Startups” processes. Dr. Güler explained the contribution of cultural differences to innovation by saying: “The concepts of innovation and technology that we know today create great effects on individuals. But the main issue is to understand the human dimension of these effects and strengthen it.” Dr. Güler, who also touched on different dimensions of innovation studies on a local and global scale, said: “Technology and innovation need to not only develop products but also provide solutions that will make a difference in individuals' lives. However, major developments cannot be considered independently of individuals."
