Prof. Ali Büyükaslan, the Dean of the School of Communication at Istanbul Medipol University, made evaluations to Anadolu Agency regarding the censorship that social media platforms apply to pro-Palestinian content. Prof. Büyükaslan said: “The media-power relationship has always been questionable, but at no time in history has this relationship been as one-sided and globally encompassing as it is when it comes to Israel.” Prof. Büyükaslan emphasized that digital media platforms restrict content about the Palestinian resistance and prioritize pro-Israeli content, underlining that the media-power relationship has a one-sided approach to the Palestinian issue.
