Istanbul Medipol University among champions in education exports

In the 6th “Champions of Service Exports” award ceremony organized by the Service Exporters Association (HİB), the institutions with the highest service exports in 2023 received their awards. The Minister of Trade Prof. Ömer Bolat, the President of the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM) Mustafa Gültepe, the President of HİB Şekib Avdagiç, and executives of leading companies from various sectors attended the ceremony. The top three companies in 18 categories were awarded at the ceremony, and Istanbul Medipol University won the third prize in the ‘Education Services Sector’. On behalf of Istanbul Medipol University, the Director of the International Office Abdullah Selim Vardarbaş received the award from the Minister of Trade, Prof. Ömer Bolat.

Speaking to the Press and Publications Office after the ceremony, Abdullah Selim Vardarbaş, the Director of the International Office, stated that over 12 thousand students from 126 countries are receiving education at Istanbul Medipol University. Emphasizing that this award is an important step to encourage exports as well as to create a strong impact in the international arena, Vardarbaş added: “This important success was achieved thanks to our university’s contributions to education exports in 2023 and its determination for growth in the international arena. It is very valuable for us that our work in education is recognized not only in our country, but also worldwide. We would like to thank all our stakeholders who contributed to this success.”
