Istanbul Medipol University School of Dentistry students experienced the excitement of taking their first steps into their professional lives with the “White Coat Ceremony”.

A “White Coat Ceremony” was held for fourth-year students of Istanbul Medipol University School of Dentistry. The ceremony, held at the South Campus Conference Hall, was attended by the School of Dentistry Dean Prof. Sina Uçkan, the International School of Medicine Dean Prof. Ayhan Taştekin, faculty members, students and their families. The ceremony, which began with the National Anthem, was opened by Prof. Sina Uçkan. Today is an unforgettable day for our dear students who are taking their first steps in this honorable profession. It is also a source of great pride and happiness for us. Wearing the white coat means not only having knowledge, but also being a conscientious, empathetic, and ethical healthcare professional. My future colleagues, the coat you are wearing today will represent the trust and hope of your future patients. I hope that you will never compromise on science, ethical values, and love for humanity throughout your professional life, and I congratulate you all.”
