He continued his words as follows: “Achieving such high scores in a challenging exam like TUS clearly demonstrates the quality of the education our students receive and their determination. Istanbul Medipol University’s understanding of quality in medical education paves the way for such successes. We are proud of our students not only for their academic success, but also for their dedication to the profession and their contributions to society. Our academic staff will continue to contribute to the success of our students in the future.”

PROF. TAŞTEKİN: TÜRKİYE’S BRIGHTEST STUDENTS ARE AT THE INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL OF MEDICINE
In his speech at the Rectorate, the Dean of the International School of Medicine Prof. Ayhan Taştekin said the following: “As the International School of Medicine, we accept students who are in the top 100 in Türkiye. The brightest minds and most successful students of Türkiye receive education at our school. Therefore, it is no surprise that students who are placed in our university with top rankings also rank in TUS. Our students are hardworking and know how to work. During their six-year education period, we can closely observe and get to know them. We have seen how skillful they are in learning diseases, approaching diseases, and solving problems. Now they have graduated and shown outstanding success in TUS. I congratulate all our students.”

DR. GÜRBÜZ DEMİREL: I WANT TO BECOME A DERMATOLOGY SPECIALIST
Dr. Beyza Gürbüz Demirel, who ranked 8th in Fundamental Medical Sciences and 11th in Clinical Medical Sciences in Türkiye, shared the following: “To be successful in TUS, you really need to work hard. I studied long hours and did a lot of repetition. My biggest motivation was to get into the specializations I wanted. However, motivation is temporary, and discipline is permanent. So I developed a study routine and stuck to it. My career plan is to become a dermatologist. First, I aim to work as a dermatology assistant and complete my specialization training. After that, I want to continue my academic career.”

DR. KAPLAN: DERMOCOSMETICS IS A FIELD OPEN TO DEVELOPMENT
Dr. Cemre Hilal Kaplan, who ranked 88th in Türkiye in Clinical Medical Sciences, said: “TUS is a challenging process. I started preparing in the 5th grade. I studied regularly with my roommate, and I rested myself by taking vacations as much as possible. I also went to the library and study more efficiently. This is how I became successful. I plan to choose dermatology. The field of dermatology, especially dermocosmetics, is very important and open to development. I think an academic career is also possible. I plan to stay at the university in this department.”

DR. DEMİREL: I AIM TO SPECIALIZE IN AESTHETICS
Alperen Demirel, who ranked 119th in Türkiye in Clinical Medical Sciences, said: “When I was studying at medical school, I always thought that if I was going to be a doctor, I had to be the best, and I wanted to be one of the few sought-after doctors. After deciding to stay in Türkiye, I realized that the way to do this was through TUS. And my approach was that if I was going to prepare for this exam, I would study as hard as I could. I never thought that passing was enough. I always aimed for the top and set goals like the top 200 and the top 50. My wife Beyza also ranked in TUS, and we had a nice competition at home during this process. I am currently planning to work as a plastic surgery assistant, and I plan to specialize in aesthetics in the future. Türkiye has great potential in the field of health tourism. Quality health services are provided. I also want to make my name known in this field and be successful.”
