Second International Workshop on Cancer and Lipidomics held

The “Second International Workshop on Cancer and Lipidomics”, organized under the leadership of Istanbul Medipol University School of Medicine faculty member Dr. Salih Gencer, was held with the participation of young researchers and scientists. The workshop, which was carried out within the framework of TÜBİTAK’s (the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye) 2223-D Bilateral Cooperation Agreements, emphasized the innovative approaches of lipid-based nanoparticles in cancer treatment. During the two-day scientific event, expert researchers shared important findings on new targeted treatment methods and the use of lipid-based nanoparticles in cancer treatment. The workshop focused on how nanoparticles affect cancer cells and the potential applications of this technology in treatment. The event also provided a fertile environment for scientific discussions and exchange of information, leading to dynamic interaction among the participants.
