Prof. Yükselen elected as President of SABAK

Prof. Arzu Yükselen was elected as the President of the Health Sciences Education Programs Evaluation and Accreditation Association (SABAK) at the 5th General Assembly.

Prof. Arzu Yükselen, Head of the Department of Child Development of the School of Health Sciences at Istanbul Medipol University, was elected as the President of the Health Sciences Education Programs Evaluation and Accreditation Association (SABAK). In addition to Yükselen, who took office at the 5th General Assembly of the Association, Vice President Assoc. Prof. Nazan Karahan, Secretary Assoc. Prof. Reci Meseri, Treasurer Faculty Member Dr. Emre Gürses, and as a member Assoc. Prof. Nesrin Akcan will carry out activities. Headquartered in Ankara, SABAK carries out accreditation, evaluation, and information activities for health sciences in different disciplines. Founded with the aim of contributing to the improvement of the quality of health sciences education in Türkiye, SABAK aims to advance the welfare of society by raising well-trained, qualified health professionals who comprehend current and emerging technologies. SABAK, an independent association that continues to work towards this goal, has accredited the Departments of Nutrition and Dietetics, Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, and Orthotics and Prosthetics of the School of Health Sciences at Istanbul Medipol University.
