Speaking at the event organized by the Department of Political Science and Public Administration of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Prof. Ahmet Nohutçu said, “The questioning mind sees the light and takes action.”
In the event organized by the Department of Political Science and Public Administration of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences of Istanbul Medipol University, Prof. Ahmet Nohutçu informed the students about the public professional exams they will take after graduation and gave advice on career planning. In the program moderated by Assist. Prof. Ergün Dilaveroğlu, Prof. Nohutçu from Istanbul Medeniyet University emphasized that everyone has a purpose in life. Stating that work done with good intentions can take people beyond their dreams, Nohutçu added: “You need a road map to succeed. It is not necessarily about working hard, but about working enough and with the right method. It is good to know a lot, but it is more important to appreciate. Have a questioning attitude. The questioning mind sees the light and takes action. You as the youth are people who will have a say in the future of this country. If you focus on your studies now, you will see that you will overcome the obstacles one by one to reach your goals both in your educational life and in your career. I was dreaming of becoming a district governor, but I became an academic instead. And I’m very happy with that.”
