Our School of Pharmacy student Furkan Özdemir has been elected to the Constitutional Working Committee of the International Pharmaceutical Students’ Federation.
Istanbul Medipol University School of Pharmacy student Furkan Özdemir was elected to the Constitutional Working Committee of the International Pharmaceutical Students’ Federation (IPSF), a well-established and prestigious organization representing more than 500,000 pharmacy students in more than 100 countries. Özdemir became the first student to hold this position on behalf of Istanbul Medipol University. Özdemir, who is a member of the Constitutional Working Committee of IPSF, which plays an active role in issues such as health systems, public health projects, and professional development, expressed this success in the following words: “Joining the IPSF requires not only knowledge and competence, but also demonstrated leadership skills in international health. This committee undertakes critical tasks such as updating IPSF’s official documents, executing the congress protocol, and developing constitutional regulations. I am delighted to be the first student from Türkiye to join this committee and to represent our university in the international pharmacy community.”
