November 24 Teachers’ Day celebrated
An event organized by the Istanbul Medipol University Faculty of Education was held to celebrate November 24 Teachers’ Day.
To mark November 24 Teachers’ Day, the Istanbul Medipol University Faculty of Education organized an event centered on the value of the academic staff and the sustainable quality of education. Held at the South Campus, the event went beyond a conventional celebration by reflecting the university’s educational vision through its focus on both institutional responsibilities such as teachers’ professional and employment rights and scholarly themes, including teachers’ well-being.
The event began with a moment of silence in honor of Head Teacher Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, followed by the Turkish National Anthem. The ceremony was attended by the Secretary General of Istanbul Medipol University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abdurrahman Çetin; the Dean of the Faculty of Education, Prof. Dr. Servet Bayram; and the Beykoz District Director of National Education,Sevcenur Özcan, along with academics and students, who shared in this meaningful occasion.
