Medipol maintains its five-year full accreditation status
Istanbul Medipol University has successfully completed the interim evaluation process under the Institutional Accreditation Program conducted by the Turkish Higher Education Quality Council (YÖKAK). The University’s five-year full accreditation status, valid until July 31, 2029, remains in effect.

Istanbul Medipol University has completed its interim evaluation under the Institutional Accreditation Program (KAP)conducted by the Turkish Higher Education Quality Council (YÖKAK) to assess higher education institutions’ quality assurance systems and their processes in education and training, research and development, societal contribution, and governance.
During the online visit conducted by the YÖKAK Evaluation Team on June 9, 2026, the improvement initiatives undertaken in response to the areas for improvement identified in the Institutional Accreditation Report (KAR) were reviewed. As part of the process, the University’s activities and the information, documents, and reports it submitted were comprehensively evaluated.
Following the interim evaluation, Istanbul Medipol University maintained its five-year full accreditation status, valid until July 31, 2029. The evaluation demonstrated the continuity of the University’s quality assurance and continuous improvement efforts across its education and training, research and development, societal contribution, and governance systems.
