Medipol hosted Model UN 2025
Hosted by Istanbul Medipol University, the ‘Medipol Model UN 2025’ program took place on the South Campus. In the program organized by Istanbul Medipol University Model United Nations Club, global problems were discussed, and solutions were sought.
The International Model United Nations Conference, where young people come together to seek solutions to social and global problems, was held on the South Campus. The conference, an international event, was hosted by Istanbul Medipol University for the fourth time. Organized under the leadership of Model United Nations (MUN), crises in different regions of the world and global problems were discussed. More than 450 participants participated in the conference, which included 13 committees. During the event, young delegates exchanged ideas on various topics, such as refugee crises, human rights violations in East Turkestan, and climate change. Participants gained experience in the functioning of the United Nations, its methods and techniques, and decision-making mechanisms, and conducted in-depth analyses on the topics determined in each committee. The organization team stated that MUN helps students expand their social circles while also helping them gain public speaking skills and academic development.
