Istanbul Medipol University and human resources and personnel management platform Kolay İK have partnered to provide students with real-world business experience. Accordingly, students taking the ‘Digital Human Resources Management’ course, which is opened for the first time within the university, will manage their own companies’ HR processes through simulations provided by Kolay İK.

Human resources management is rapidly transforming under the influence of digitalization. As data-driven analytics, AI-powered processes, and automation reshape the role and position of HR within organizations, the need for skilled HR professionals is also growing. In this context, Istanbul Medipol University and Kolay İK, a human resources and personnel management platform, have signed an important agreement. According to the agreement, Kolay İK’s contributions will be utilized in the ‘Digital Human Resources Management’ course, which will be attended by the students of the Management Information Systems and Human Resources Management undergraduate programs affiliated to the Faculty of Business and Management Sciences at Istanbul Medipol University. The signing ceremony of the cooperation between the two institutions was attended by Istanbul Medipol University Faculty of Business and Management Sciences Dean Prof. Gökhan Silahtaroğlu, Kolay İK Chief Operating Officer Tunca Üçer, Istanbul Medipol University Faculty Member Assoc. Prof. Mesut Öztırak who will give the course, department heads, and faculty members.
INTERNSHIP AND JOB PLACEMENT FOR SUCCESSFUL STUDENTS
Kolay İK will provide special accounts to the students who will attend the course within the framework of the cooperation, and they will gain experience in designing HR processes in their own companies and managing real business scenarios through simulations. Professionals from the sector will also participate in some courses and share their experiences. In this way, students will acquire digital HR skills that will enable them to play an active role in their future careers. At the end of the course, students, who will prepare their projects and present them to Kolay İK managers, will be guided to internship and job opportunities and take a step into their careers.

Prof. Gökhan Silahtaroğlu, the Dean of Istanbul Medipol University’s Faculty of Business and Management Sciences, made a statement after the agreement and said: “As a university, it is a very valuable goal for us to both give our students a strong start in their careers and to train leaders who will lead digital HR processes in our country. Through this collaboration, our students will have the opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge in the real world and grow into innovative HR leaders with digital skills. We also want to strengthen the bridge between academic education and the business world.”
