International School of Medicine students have put on their white coats

A ‘White Coat Wearing Ceremony’ was organized for the students of Istanbul Medipol University International School of Medicine. Dean of the International School of Medicine Prof. Ayhan Taştekin, Vice Deans Prof. Mesut Yılmaz and Prof. Zübeyir Bayraktaroğlu, academicians, students and their families attended the ceremony held at the South Campus Conference Hall. Prof. Yılmaz delivered the opening speech of the ceremony, which started with the reading of the National Anthem. He stated that wearing a white coat is one of the important steps for a medical student on the path to becoming a physician. He emphasized that physicians should be qualified, sincere, reliable, compassionate, and do their job well. Stating that the International School of Medicine is the address of students ranked highest in YKS, Yılmaz said that they continue on their way with the mission of training scientists. Emphasizing that they were accredited until 2030 as a result of the evaluation made by TEPDAD, Yılmaz stated that they will continue to offer the best educational experience to students by raising the quality standards in medical education. The ceremony ended with a musical concert and dance show prepared by the students.
