Integrating artificial intelligence into education discussed

Under the initiative of the Dean of Istanbul Medipol University School of Business and Management Sciences Prof. Gökhan Silahtaroğlu, a workshop titled “Using Artificial Intelligence Applications and Platforms in Learning, Teaching, Homework/Project Preparation, and Assessments in the 2024–2025 Academic Year” was organized. Faculty members from various schools attended the workshop held at the South Campus. In the two-day program, the education quality, personalized learning experiences, and efficiency of artificial intelligence were discussed. The two-session workshop focused on the integration and the use of artificial intelligence in educational processes and academic activities. While presentations were also made on the challenges of artificial intelligence in terms of cost, data security, ethical issues, and lack of human interaction, at the end of the workshop suggestions were presented by the participants under seven themes.
