Dr. Neşe Ayşit honored with an award at the Medical Biology Congress
Dr. Neşe Ayşit, a researcher at the Institute of Health Sciences and Technologies Research (SABITA) at Istanbul Medipol University, was awarded Second Prize for Oral Presentation for her study presented at the 19th Medical Biology and Genetics Congress.

Researcher from Istanbul Medipol University’s Institute of Health Sciences and Technologies Research (SABITA),Dr. Neşe Ayşit participated in the 19th Medical Biology and Genetics Congress held in Muğla. Bringing together Türkiye’s leading researchers in molecular biology and genetics, the congress provided a platform where Dr. Ayşit presented her oral paper on cancer biology, shared her research with the scientific community, and was honored with an award for her work.
Her study, titled“Investigation of Sensory Neuron–Breast Cancer Cell Interactions in In Vitro Models,” was evaluated by the scientific jury and selected for the Second Prize for Oral Presentation.
Aiming to model the interactions between cancer cells and sensory neurons under laboratory conditions, the study offers novel perspectives that may contribute to the development of innovative therapeutic approaches in cancer biology.
