Hosted by Istanbul Medipol University, “Breaking Boundaries in Higher Education: International Student Forum” brought to the agenda the problems faced by international students in Türkiye, their experiences, and potential solutions.
The opening speeches of the forum held at Istanbul Medipol University North Campus were delivered by Istanbul Medipol University Vice-President Prof. Yasemin Yüksel Durmaz, Secretary General of Istanbul Medipol University Assoc. Prof. Semih Korkut, and Istanbul Medipol University Mediterranean Research Center (MEDAR) Director Prof. Bekir Berat Özipek. The forum discussed the opportunities brought by internationalization in higher education in Türkiye, the current problems of this process, and student experiences.
