The eighth Sustainable Finance Forum, organized by the Business Council for Sustainable Development (BCSD Türkiye) and UN Global Compact Network Türkiye with the theme "Promoting Capital Flows with Sustainability in the New Global Economic Order", was held on 29 November at Borsa Istanbul. Sustainable Development Application and Research Center expert Pınar Eylem Yılmaz participated in the forum.
In the first panel of the forum, the future of the ESG borrowing market and the interest of foreign investors in green instruments in Türkiye were discussed, while in the second panel of the forum, the issue of compliance of financial regulation in Türkiye with global ESG standards to direct capital flows towards sustainable investments was evaluated by expert speakers.
