One Language, A Thousand Stories Talk Series Launches at Medipol TÖMER

Istanbul Medipol University Turkish Language Teaching Application and Research Center (TÖMER) is launching a new online talk series titled “One Language, A Thousand Stories” to provide international students with an opportunity to share their Turkish language learning experiences, cultural encounters, and personal stories of life in Türkiye.

The series aims to bring together international students from different countries and Medipol TÖMER alumni to discuss their experiences of learning Turkish, adapting to life in Türkiye, engaging in intercultural communication, navigating university life, and pursuing personal development.

The first guest of the series will be Hajira Karim, a student at the International School of Medicine at Istanbul Medipol University. During the online session, scheduled for Monday, November 9, 2026, at 7:00 PM, Karim will share insights into her educational journey in Türkiye, her experience of learning Turkish, and the perspectives she has gained from living in a different cultural environment.
