Medipol TÖMER Holds Its 2nd Internal Stakeholder Meeting
The 2nd Internal Stakeholder Meeting, organized by Istanbul Medipol University Turkish Language Teaching Application and Research Center (Medipol TÖMER) within the scope of its accreditation activities, was held on July 20, 2026.
During the meeting, the activities carried out following the acceptance of Medipol TÖMER’s preliminary accreditation application were evaluated. Participants were informed about the improvements implemented during the preliminary application process, the processes and workflows developed, quality assurance mechanisms, stakeholder participation, student services, and the plans for the full application stage.
Representatives from the International Office, International School of Medicine, Turkish Preparatory Program Coordination Office, Department of Information Technologies, Department of Health, Culture and Sports, Disabled Students Office, Press Office, Department of Support Services, Distance Education Application and Research Center, Sustainable Development and Twin Transformation Application and Research Center, Continuing Education Center, Career and Alumni Center, Social Contribution Unit, Erasmus Office, Technology Transfer Office, and Ombudsman Office attended the meeting. Lecturer Çağlayan Kavgaoğlu, Head of the Transportation Services Program, also participated in the meeting.
Information was provided regarding the documents prepared and updated by Medipol TÖMER during the accreditation process. Educational activities, student admission and registration procedures, examination practices, student counseling, the collection of stakeholder feedback, satisfaction surveys, document management, risk monitoring, the elimination of nonconformities, and continuous improvement activities were discussed.
Participants shared their opinions and recommendations concerning TÖMER’s academic and administrative processes. They contributed to discussions on strengthening interdepartmental cooperation, supporting the academic and social integration of international students, improving the digital infrastructure, expanding accessibility practices, and systematically evaluating stakeholder feedback.
It was decided that the opinions and recommendations obtained during the meeting would be incorporated into Medipol TÖMER’s improvement plans for the full accreditation application process and that the relevant activities would be monitored in accordance with the Plan–Do–Check–Act cycle.
Medipol TÖMER aims to continuously improve its educational, research, and social contribution activities in the field of Turkish language teaching by continuing its quality assurance and accreditation efforts with the active participation of its internal and external stakeholders.
