General Coordination of Foreign Languages About Saturday Support Classes

To better support students’ academic progress, Saturday Support Classes will be offered throughout the track as part of our academic support program.

Purpose of the Support Classes

Saturday Support Classes are designed as targeted revision sessions, not regular lessons.

They do not introduce new content. Instead, they aim to:
 

• Reinforce topics covered during the same week
• Address specific areas where students experience difficulty
• Provide guided practice in small-group settings
• Skill Areas Covered
  
  Support Classes are offered in the following areas:
   
• Grammar
• Reading
• Writing
• Listening & Speaking

Topic Selection
Each week, course instructors identify topics that students struggled with most during regular lessons. Based on this input, the most frequently reported topics are selected as the focus of that week’s Support Classes.

Only current-week topics are included.

Class Planning and Schedule

• A Support Class is opened only if at least 10 students register.
• Each class has a maximum capacity of 20 students.
• All Support Classes run at the same time, and students choose the session they need most.
• If demand exceeds capacity, additional sessions may be opened depending on availability.

Lesson duration:

• Grammar & Writing: 2 lesson hours
• Reading, Listening & Speaking: 4 lesson hours

Registration and Attendance

• Student registration closes every Thursday at 23:59.
• Class lists and schedules are announced by Friday at 17:00.
• Attendance is taken at the beginning of each class.
• Students who register but do not attend twice will not be eligible to apply for Support Classes for the remainder of the track.
