First Additional Exam Right for Justice Vocational School Students Who Have Maxed Out Their Maximum Duration of Study

In accordance with Article 44 of Law No. 2547; excluding the one-year foreign language preparatory class, students must complete two-year associate degree programs within a maximum of four years, four-year bachelor's programs within a maximum of seven years, five-year bachelor's programs within a maximum of eight years, and six-year bachelor's programs within a maximum of nine years, starting from the semester when the courses of the registered program are offered, regardless of whether they register for each semester or not.

Accordingly;
The periods during which students freeze their registration are deducted from the maximum duration of study calculation.
Students who were first-year students in the 2022-2023 Academic Year are those who have completed their maximum duration of study.
The additional examinations to be applied to vocational school students who have maxed out their maximum duration within the scope of Article 44 of the Higher Education Law No. 2547 will be held on the dates specified below.

AT THE END OF THE ADDITIONAL EXAMS;
Students who have 6 or more remaining failed courses in total after using their right to additional exams will be dismissed from the University.
Those who reduce the number of failed courses to five will be granted three semesters for these five courses.
Students who have up to five failed courses without taking the additional exams will be granted four semesters.
Students who fail only one course at the end of the additional exams will be granted the right to take the exam for that failed course an unlimited number of times; however, students granted this unlimited exam right cannot benefit from student privileges.
A student who does not take the opened exams for a total of 3 (three) consecutive or intermittent academic years is deemed to have waived the unlimited exam right and cannot benefit from this right.
