The results of the 2023-24 Academic Year Mid-Term English Preparatory Exemption Exam, which we held on Tuesday, 6.2.2024 for the written part and Thursday, 8.2.2024 for the speaking part, have been announced on MEBIS with the scores of our students.
The exam grade that the students see on MEBIS is their final grade, and the students who see the "Exempt" mark are exempt from the preparation.
Students who scored between 60 and 74 points in the written part of the exam were eligible to take the speaking exam, but students who failed the speaking exam were not "exempt". The grade that our students in this situation see on MEBIS is the result of the speaking exam and has nothing to do with the score between 60-74 from the written part, which is required to be eligible to take the speaking exam.
In addition, due to an inadvertent mistake in the list announced in the "Midterm Exemption - February 6 Results and February 8 Speaking Exam List" announcement dated 7.2.2024 published on our website, many of our exempt students saw their status as "will study prep". Upon realizing the mistake, the updated grades were shared on MEBIS. We kindly ask our students to consider only their grades and status on MEBIS as of today.
