TOPOGRAPHY AS A DESIGN CONSTRAINT
This course is designed for the Departments of Architecture, Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, and Urban Design and Landscape Architecture. In the second semester of the curriculum, the primary objective is to enable students to identify the user and the environment, while grasping the criteria of programming, function, and structural composition. Key focus areas in the design process include establishing site-building spatial relationships, spatial organization at both holistic and unit scales, and the integration of structural characteristics within a designated building group.
