TÖMER Teaching Staff Receive Training on Assessment, Evaluation and Item Analysis

TÖMER teaching staff participated in a training session titled “Question and Item Analysis in Assessment and Evaluation,” delivered by Dr. Çağla Anılmış, Lecturer at Istanbul Kent University.
Organised to enhance assessment practices and support teachers’ professional development, the session covered the evaluation of examination questions, item difficulty and discrimination, and the use of analysis results to improve teaching and learning. Particular emphasis was placed on developing valid and reliable assessment tools aligned with learning outcomes.
The training also supported TÖMER’s quality assurance and accreditation efforts by strengthening teaching staff’s assessment competencies. Data-informed monitoring and continuous improvement of assessment practices aim to further enhance the quality of education at TÖMER.
