Regarding the Exemption Exam for English Preparatory Program Students Who Have Reached the Maximum Duration of Study and Are Covered by Amnesty Law No. 7592
For our students whose enrollment in the program was terminated due to their failure to successfully complete the mandatory foreign language preparatory class within a maximum of two years; in accordance with Article 44(c) of the Higher Education Law No. 2547, which states: “Students who fail to succeed in the foreign language preparatory class within a maximum of two years shall have their enrollment terminated. Students whose enrollment in the preparatory class of programs where the language of instruction is entirely or partially a foreign language is terminated are granted three exam attempts to be used within three years.” In accordance with this provision, the General Coordination of Foreign Languages will administer an exemption exam on Thursday, September 24, 2026.
Students in this situation must fill out the application form provided at the link below and submit it to the Language School secretary’s office no later than September 23, 2026.
Additionally, students who enrolled at our university under the provisions of Law No. 7592 and are required to take the English preparatory course will also be required to take the exemption exam on the same day. Students in this situation must also submit the petition to the Language School Secretary’s Office by September 23, 2026, at the latest.
