The Turkic world gathered at the Medipol cultural festival

The “Turkic World Culture Festival” was organized by Istanbul Medipol University’s International Relations and Foreign Policy Club. The event, which took place on the B4 garden floor of the South Campus, was attended by Secretary General of Istanbul Medipol University, Assoc. Prof. Semih Korkut; Dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Prof. Gökhan Malkoç; Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Consul, Ülkü Alemdar; Consul General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul, Sherzod Abdunazarov; President of the World Youth Association of Uzbekistan in Türkiye, Dr. Ergash Jumaev; Çokay Koçar from the Uzbekistan Culture Association; and many students from various countries. The festival featured areas where students from Turkic states showcased their cultures through traditional archery, local delicacies, folk dances, dombra and instrumental concerts, traditional clothing exhibitions, geographical cuisine promotions, handicraft workshops, marbling and tile applications, and traditional games such as three stones and mas wrestling.
