THE UNCHANGING ADDRESS OF THE CHAMPIONS
Istanbul Medipol University, the home of top-ranked students in the Higher Education Institutions Examination (YKS) since 2016, was chosen by two toppers this year. Zeynep Naz Çöne and Mustafa Özateş, Türkiye’s top-ranked students with the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) supplementary points, were accepted into Medipol’s International School of Medicine, which offers medical education in English. In addition to Çöne and Özateş, 25 students who ranked in the top 100 on the YKS exam, including those who ranked 3rd, 5th, 6th, 8th, and 9th in the top 100 on the YKS, will study at Istanbul Medipol University. The YKS champions were introduced to the public at a press conference.
AN INTERNATIONALLY VALID DIPLOMA
Istanbul Medipol University has successfully completed the Turkish Higher Education Quality Council’s (THEQC) Institutional Accreditation Program (IAP) process, solidifying its quality and earning institutional accreditation. Medipol, ranked among the top 1,000 in the 2025 Impact Rankings published by Times Higher Education (THE), achieved a top 5 ranking in Türkiye in the “Good Health and Wellbeing” category and a 201-300 ranking globally. Medipol, which has steadily made progress in numerous rankings prepared by the world’s most respected higher education rating organizations, such as the University Ranking by Academic Academic Performance (URAP), SCImago Institutions Rankings (SCImago), and Round University Ranking (RUR), also ranked 18th among all universities and 5th among foundation universities in the TÜBİTAK-Entrepreneurial and Innovative University Index (EIUI).
