The Turkcell team shared their sectoral experiences with students

Organized by Istanbul Medipol University Management Information Society (MIS), the event “Turkcell Network Solutions” was held at the South Campus Conference Hall. Business Analyst Özge Ataç, Product Manager Şafak Yörücü and Technical Business Analyst Feyyaz Korkmaz from Turkcell attended the event and shared their experiences in the business world with the participants.

ATAÇ: OUR PRIORITY IS PEOPLE 
Describing the Turkcell brand and brand values, Özge Ataç said that they prioritize sustainability efforts. Ataç noted: “As Turkcell, we aim to provide 65% of our company’s energy from our own green resources by 2026.” Stating that Turkcell’s priority has always been people, Ataç shared: “In addition to our human-centered working approach, protecting our social values ​​and our customers are the main priorities. As Turkcell, we work in harmony without any discrimination based on religion, language or race by adopting the understanding of ‘differences are richness’. Open communication is also among the principles we value.”

KORKMAZ: FIELD AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS ARE VERY IMPORTANT
Feyyaz Korkmaz, working as a ‘Developer’ in the Turkcell team, said: “As ‘Developers’, we, in short, write code. In the past, it was enough to be able to write code, but in today’s developing technology and business world, this alone is no longer enough. If you want to advance in the sector and be successful, field and communication skills are very important because this profession has become an interdisciplinary profession.”
