Sustainability and Twin Transition Center introduced
At the event organized within the scope of the establishment of the Sustainability and Twin Transition Center at Istanbul Medipol University, the impacts of green and digital transformation on industry, development, and human capital were addressed.

The “Sustainability and Twin Transition Center Project,” implemented under the coordination of the Istanbul Medipol University Sustainable Development and Twin Transition Research and Application Center (SURKAM), in partnership with the Digital and Sustainable Future Association (DİSÜDER) and with the support of the Istanbul Development Agency (İSTKA), was introduced at the event.
Held at the South Campus Conference Hall, the event was attended by Istanbul Deputy Governor Cengiz Karabulut; İSTKA Secretary General Dr. Ziya Taşkent; Istanbul Medipol University President Prof. Bahadır Kürşat Güntürk; Istanbul Medipol University SURKAM Director Prof. Rana Atabay Kuşçu; as well as academics and students.
The panel session organized within the scope of the event was moderated by Prof. Rana Atabay Kuşçu. The panel featured DCUBE Co-Founder Attorney Oya Eroğlu, MEXT Sustainability Manager Yusuf Turhan, and Prof. Ece Ümmü Deveci, faculty member at Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University, who examined sustainability and twin transition processes from both academic and sectoral perspectives.
