SABITREND’26 addresses SABITA’s 2026 vision and transformation
The SABITREND’26 event, organized by İstanbul Medipol University SABITA, brought together the latest research in health sciences and technologies, the newly restructured research model, and interdisciplinary approaches with the academic community. During the event, the institute’s 2026 vision as well as its national and international research objectives were also examined through the scientific sessions conducted.

Organized under the principle that knowledge should not only be produced but also structured in a manner that ensures sustainability and societal impact, SABITREND’26 presented İstanbul Medipol University’s research vision within a comprehensive framework. Led by the İstanbul Medipol University Health, Science, and Technology Research Institute (SABITA), the event extensively covered the university’s research infrastructure, restructuring process, career development models, and ongoing scientific studies across diverse disciplines over the course of two days. The event, held at the South Campus Conference Hall, was attended by İstanbul Medipol University President Prof. Bahadır Kürşat Güntürk, İstanbul Medipol University Vice President Prof. Yasemin Yüksel Durmaz, SABITA Director Assoc. Prof. Emrah Eroğlu, as well as numerous academicians, researchers, and students.
