Istanbul Medipol University School of Pharmacy students have put on their white coats.
‘’2022 Graduates White Coat Ceremony’’ organized by the Istanbul Medipol University School of Pharmacy was held in the Conference Hall at South Campus.
While giving a speech at the ceremony, the Dean of the School of Pharmacy, Prof. Dr Gülden Omurtag, recommended that students improve their foreign languages and skills in technology. She also reminded that the ethical values of the profession should not be compromised. Stating that they had their 8th graduates, Omurtag said, “Today, the number of pharmacy schools increased to 60. Our school has been accredited until 2025 by the National Society of Assessment and Accreditation of Pharmacy Education (ECZAKDER). This accreditation means the registration of our education quality. We are in a good position with laboratory means, and we have numerous projects carried out with the industry and drug companies. We include our students in all the projects. A pharmacist is the closest health consultant for the public; they know the drugs very well. In this regard, there are many things for them to do. Especially there is a need for pharmacists in the industry. We bring our students together with the industry and offer them internship opportunities.”
