International Faculty of Medicine students took their first step in the journey of becoming physicians

The “White Coat Ceremony,” organized by the Istanbul Medipol University International Faculty of Medicine, was held at the South Campus Conference Hall. During the ceremony, second-year students donned their white coats, symbolically taking their first steps into the medical profession.

The event was attended by the Dean of the International Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Ayhan Taştekin; Vice Deans Prof. Dr. Mesut Yılmaz and Prof. Dr. Zübeyir Bayraktaroğlu; as well as faculty members, students, and families. The program highlighted the symbolic significance of students wearing their white coats as an entry into the profession, featured informative speeches on the ethical values of medicine and the responsibilities that require dedication and self-sacrifice, and underscored the importance of role model physicians. Participants shared this meaningful moment together with the future physicians, celebrating a pivotal step in their professional formation.
