Industrial Design Program was accredited by ENTAK

The Industrial Design Accreditation Board (ENTAK), operating under the Industrial Designers’ Society of Türkiye (ETMK), has granted accreditation to the Undergraduate Program in Industrial Design at the School of Fine Arts, Design and Architecture of Istanbul Medipol University.

According to the accreditation certificate, the Industrial Design Program has been accredited by ETMK-ENTAK for the period between March 30, 2026, and March 30, 2028. The accreditation certificate was issued with the signatures of Dr. Renk Dimli Oraklıbel, Chair of ETMK-ENTAK, and E. Sertaç Ersayın, Chair of the ETMK Board of Directors.
 

PROF. DİKBAŞ: THE ACCREDITATION PROCESS CONTRIBUTES TO THE IMPROVEMENT OF OUR EDUCATIONAL QUALITY
Prof. Atilla Dikbaş, Dean of the School of Fine Arts, Design and Architecture, emphasized the importance of accreditation processes in fostering a culture of quality in higher education while commenting on the accreditation achievement of the Industrial Design Program.

Dikbaş stated: “We are very pleased that our Industrial Design Program has been accredited by ETMK-ENTAK. This outcome is the result of the evaluation of our program’s educational activities in accordance with the relevant criteria. I would like to thank our department chair, academic staff, and all stakeholders who contributed to this process.”

Dikbaş also noted that the School continues its efforts to enhance educational quality and views accreditation processes as an important component of institutional development.
