The School of Pharmacy Student Association (MEDUPSA) of Istanbul Medipol University held its 8th Career Days as part of International Women’s Day on March 8. Dr. Audrey Wong from the World Health Organization (WHO) was the guest of the event held at the South Campus Conference Hall. Conducting studies on tuberculosis, public health, and climate change at WHO headquarters, Dr. Wong spoke about the importance of involving women and young people in health policymaking. By sharing her career in global health and the contributions of women leaders in healthcare, Dr. Wong offered valuable advice to students looking to shape their careers. The Career Days, themed “Take Your Career One Step Higher”, highlighted the power of women and youth in healthcare.
