International COIL Project Successfully Held Between Medipol and Lahore Universities!

As part of its internationalization strategy, Istanbul Medipol University Foreign Languages General Coordinatorship  successfully carried out an innovative COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning) project in collaboration with Pakistan’s prestigious Lahore University. The project was conducted in English and involved students from Medipol’s English preparatory program. Through online platforms, students from both universities came together to deliver cultural presentations, introduce their local traditions, and reinforce their learning through interactive quizzes.

Such projects offer students the opportunity to explore different cultures, foster mutual understanding, and develop a strong sense of global citizenship. At the same time, participants enhance their digital communication skills, critical thinking abilities, and confidence in expressing themselves in a foreign language.

This international academic collaboration marks an important step in Istanbul Medipol University’s mission to elevate the quality of education on a global scale and provide students with meaningful international learning experiences.
