Educational Model
The program is delivered using a traditional education model. The Life Model is utilized in certain professional practice courses, including Fundamentals of Nursing, Medical-Surgical Nursing, Obstetric and Women’s Health Nursing, Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing, and Nursing Internship I–II. The Omaha System is used in the Public Health Nursing practicum course, while the Gordon’s Functional Health Patterns Model is employed in the Child Health and Pediatric Nursing course.
In professional nursing courses, nursing models and theories are utilized in the assessment and identification stages of the nursing process, while NANDA-I nursing diagnoses are used during the nursing diagnosis stage.
The integration of topics within the curriculum was based on HUÇEP-2014 through the 2021–2022 academic year. For the 2022–2023 academic year, the integration of course content was revised and aligned with HUÇEP-2022.
