Health Informatics (M.S. with Thesis)

fdgdfgdfgdfgdg

Our Master of Science Program in Health Informatics with Thesis focuses on the concept of health informatics, which aims to improve the quality of patient care through the creation, processing, formatting, analysis, and sharing of information and data, as well as the implementation of the insights gained from these processes. Achieving this goal requires interdisciplinary and integrative approaches. Considering this requirement, training all healthcare and administrative personnel working in Türkiye's healthcare institutions in the field of Health Informatics emerges as a crucial need. Indeed, the primary activity that AMIA (American Medical Informatics Association)—which was founded in 1990 and has greatly contributed to the dissemination of health/medical informatics concepts—focused on after its establishment was providing education to healthcare professionals. The need to train individuals working in the healthcare field in health informatics and to ensure their participation in research has also been recognized in our country. Consequently, with the purpose of providing postgraduate education in the field of health informatics, this program aims to increase the knowledge level of healthcare and administrative staff working in hospitals, especially in our universities and medical centers; to contribute to the literature through master's theses and scientific research; and ultimately, to assist healthcare institutions in increasing their quality and efficiency by making information and evidence-based decisions.
